Trauma Informed and Neurodiversity Informed Telehealth Therapy

I specialize in working with neurodivergent (self-diagnosed counts!) and LGBTQIA+ adults in Ohio. This intersection is sometimes called neuroqueer* a term coined by Nick Walker PhD.

Together, we’ll focus on building self-compassion while navigating a world that often overlooks or misunderstands us, and finding ways to live more fully and freely.

In the face of rising attacks on our rights, your fear, anger, and grief are valid. I will not offer “hacks” for being okay with systems of oppression.

Whatever you’re facing, you deserve a life that feels real, joyful, and your own. I’d be honored to support you.

*are you neurodivergent?

Trauma informed Neurodivergent Affirming Therapy: I don’t push productivity “hacks” or try to “fix” who you are. You are not the problem—systems that weren’t built with us in mind are. Therapy with me means honoring your needs, not forcing you into harmful molds.

Values Statement

As a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-S), I take my code of ethics seriously. My values as a human align with the NASW’s Code regarding the importance of social and economic justice, as well as worth and dignity of all humans regardless of race, gender, age, or any other identities that are tied into our sense of self. In addition, I value diversity, equity, and inclusion in society and therapy. This is especially pertinent to any marginalized groups, but in my own practice, I have an ethical obligation to advocating for and protecting queer, transgender and gender non-conforming individuals. I have zero tolerance for nationalism, homophobia, transphobia, racism, or any other type of hatred in disguise as “values” of any particular group.

Let’s work together.
