About Lauren
Pronouns: She/They
I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a supervisory designation (LISW-S) based in Columbus, Ohio. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Ohio State University and have a background in Art Therapy and Fine Arts, holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from the Columbus College of Art and Design.
My passion is working with people who have experienced trauma, including complex or chronic PTSD (C-PTSD). I continuously seek out new training and research to stay up to date on the best ways to support healing.
I am deeply committed to providing quality gender-affirming care for trans, non-binary, and gender-expansive individuals, including writing WPATH letters for gender-affirming surgeries. Ensuring that this process is affirming, respectful, and as easy as possible is important to me.
With over a decade of experience teaching meditation and mindfulness, I incorporate these practices into therapy in a way that is accessible and adaptable for all neurotypes. I celebrate neurodiversity and welcome clients of all neurotypes with warmth and understanding.
As a neurodivergent therapist, I know firsthand the importance of self-advocacy and ongoing learning. I actively seek out new information and training on neurodivergence to ensure I am providing the best possible care.
I strive to create a space where you feel seen, understood, and supported—just as you are.
